Pure arrived at Los Barrios pound in August 2025 and was about 12 years old on arrival. He is a gorgeous Crossbreed that was found presumably abandoned on the streets and taken to the pound.

Pure is a beautiful soul of about 12 years old. Sadly, he is not coping well with life at the pound. Locked away in a tiny cage for more than 23 hours a day, lying on a hard, damp concrete floor, Pure seems to not understand why he is there. It is a very lonely life for this kind and gentle boy.

Despite his difficult situation, Pure has already shown us what a loving and gentle character he has. On walks, he doesn’t seem bothered by other dogs as long as they keep a little distance. He seems very interested in cats, so a home without cats would be best for him. He has also met a child and was incredibly gentle with her.

This old gentleman should not spend his days behind bars, nor sleep on a filthy concrete floor. What Pure truly deserves is a soft bed, a warm home, and the love and care of a family who will cherish him for the rest of his days.
