Tarzan arrived at the pound in February 2026 and is thought to be around five years old. He is a gorgeous Staffordshire Bull Terrier who was presumably abandoned on the streets before being taken to the pound.

He is a real sweetheart who loves people and enjoys cuddles. Tarzan has been out on the patio with both male and female dogs and is doing really well, showing that he can get along nicely with other dogs.

He has also been out on a walk and did well on the lead. The whole experience of going for a walk seemed a little new to him at first, and he appeared slightly unsure, but he handled it very well, including passing cars, people, and other dogs.

Everything we have seen so far shows a friendly and loving boy who simply wants to feel safe and close to his people.

With his gentle and affectionate nature, we hope this lovely boy won’t have to wait long before finding a forever home where he can feel safe, happy, and loved. 🐾
