Tarzan arrived at the pound in February 2026 and is thought to be around five years old. He is a gorgeous Staffordshire Bull Terrier who was presumably abandoned on the streets before being taken to the pound.

He is a real sweetheart who loves people and enjoys cuddles. Tarzan has been out on the patio with both male and female dogs and is doing really well, showing that he can get along nicely with other dogs.

He has also been out on a walk and did well on the lead. The whole experience of going for a walk was a bit new to him at first, and he seemed slightly uncertain, but he handled it very well, including passing cars, people, and other dogs.

As he has only recently arrived, it is still early days, and we are continuing to get to know him and learn more about his personality.

With his friendly and loving nature, we hope this lovely boy won’t have to wait long before finding a forever home where he can feel safe, happy, and loved.
