Balto arrived at the pound in May 2026 and was estimated to be around one year old at the time of arrival. He is a stunning young husky with a striking appearance and, so far, he has made a positive impression.

It is still early days, and we are still getting to know him, but he seems friendly with people and has already been successfully integrated with a female dog without any issues.

Like many young huskies, Balto will likely enjoy an active lifestyle and a home that can provide him with both exercise and mental stimulation. We hope he will not have to spend long in the pound and can soon find a loving home of his own.
