Coco – Looking for a loving forever home

Coco was four years old when he arrived at the pound in July 2026.

This adorable little boy has settled in well since arriving at the pound. He is very friendly with people and has also shown himself to be sociable with other dogs at the pound, both males and females.

Coco enjoys every opportunity to leave his cage and explore the world outside. Like so many dogs at the pound, he spends more than 23½ hours a day in a cage, making every walk and every moment of attention especially meaningful.

Sadly, after around three months at the pound, the conditions are beginning to take their toll on Coco's health. He is suffering from skin problems, and living in a tiny, damp and dirty cage for most of the day is certainly not helping. The constant noise, stress and chaos of a busy pound are also far from the environment he needs to recover and feel well.

Poor Coco desperately needs a home of his own, where he can receive the care and attention he needs and enjoy a calmer, more comfortable life. A foster home would also make a huge difference, giving him the chance to get away from the pound environment and hopefully improve his health and well-being.

Coco deserves so much more than life in a cage. We hope he won't have to wait much longer to find a loving and responsible family who will cherish him, give him the care and security every dog deserves, and make a lifelong commitment to him so that he will never be abandoned again.
