Milo – A gentle soul who deserves so much more

Milo is 13.5 years old, and instead of spending his senior years in comfort, he has been left behind at the pound by the person who was meant to care for him. At an age where he should be surrounded by love and familiarity, Milo now finds himself in a small cage, with unfamiliar faces and the constant noise of barking dogs all around him. It’s a heartbreaking and overwhelming change for a dog who has already given so much of his life.

We don’t know everything about Milo’s past, but what we do know is that no dog deserves to be discarded simply for growing old. Milo is not “too old” — he is wise, gentle, and deserving of kindness more than ever.

He has only just arrived, and everything around him is new and confusing. Right now, he needs time, patience, and above all, compassion as he begins to process this sudden change in his life.

We truly believe Milo still has so much love to give. What he needs now is someone willing to give him the chance to spend his remaining years in dignity, comfort, and care — the way every dog should.
