Tai – A gentle senior who deserves a loving final chapter
Tai is around 11 years old and arrived at the pound in April 2026, after being handed in by his family alongside Chenoa, who had been adopted from the pound a couple of years ago. They were both left behind as the family left the country… as if their lives could be set aside without a second thought.
We don’t know much about Tai’s past, but we don’t need to know much to see the kind of dog he is. He is an absolute sweetheart — gentle, calm, and kind, with a soft nature that shines through despite everything he’s been through.
Now he finds himself in a small cage, surrounded by unfamiliar faces and the constant noise of barking dogs. It’s a stressful and confusing place, especially for a senior dog who should be enjoying comfort and peace in a loving home. It’s heartbreaking to see him like this, after a lifetime, not understanding why he has been left behind.
Tai deserves so much more. He deserves a soft bed, quiet surroundings, and people who will care for him with patience and love. He deserves to feel safe again.
Senior dogs like Tai have so much to give — a gentle companionship, a deep, quiet love, and a gratitude that words can’t describe. All he needs is someone willing to give him that chance.
Please help us give Tai the ending he deserves. He should not spend his final years in a cage. He deserves a home where he can finally rest, feel loved… and never be abandoned again.
